A clinic built at a cost of K 1 million has been opened in Lusaka’s Barlastone area in Matero constituency.
The facility, called Hope Clinic, has been constructed with the help of an American clergy, Ted Lawler, president and founder of Breath of Heaven Children’s Ministries.
Speaking at the official opening on Friday, Pastor Lawler said the clinic is a gift to the people of Matero constituency and surrounding areas.
Pastor Lawler said Hope Clinic was built to serve the orphans and vulnerable children that are housed at the Breath of Heaven Children’s Village.
“Serving orphans is part of our biblical commission as stated in James 1:27. The Hope Clinic opening today is another great milestone of what God can do through His people. The construction was financed with the help of many families based in the United States of America,” he said.
And Bible Gospel Church in Africa (BIGOCA) overseer Peter Ndhlovu thanked Pastor Lawler and wife Judy for the vision and sacrifice in ensuring that the lives of the orphans are cared for.
